Texas River House - Chirnside Park

Waited 20 mins for someone to take our order when we did finally order we were told that the items we wanted were not available, waited another 20mins for our drinks. Both our drinks and meals were delivered to the wrong table and I didn’t get my side dish until I had finished my main dish.

Young guy serving us didn’t put our order through properly. Missed our wings and sweat potato wedges. When we asked where the other food is he didn’t admit he didn’t put it through or apologise. He guessed what we ordered and didn’t get it right again. Also when I asked for a drink he didn’t put it through. When people finally apologies it didn’t feel like they even cared and no offer for a discount or free drink. Steak was good though.

We were really looking forward to a steak tonight BUT were soon advised that some items from the menu were not available... SCOTCH Fillet included BUT, we decided to go with the calamari and we would definitely go back just for that! The resturant was very quiet and wait staff were run off their feet. Service was friendly and fast BUT would have like to have ordered a couple of more drinks if they came around. Will head back with the kids next time.

Not much of a menu food wasn’t cooked very nice paid $100 and didn’t eat a quarter of both our meal’s service was ok nice place though just down fall on the food and the price for it

Service was poor to non existent, waited 50 mins after being seated before they took our order then waited again a long time before it was served. Food wasn’t great and the venue wasn’t busy.
