The Chilli Box - Chippenham

A great sound! we were introduced by friends into this local pub. everything we had was very good. the chef changes the menu based on what is fresh and in the season. the pints are fresh (expected) and the service was friendly. fish and chip are expected in each self-respecting pub. However, their fish and chips were excellent; slightly scattered and pierced hot top cut by atlantic cod. I would have made a decision if I knew it was so good. Unfortunately I couldn't stop eating it soon enough to make a picture. were also very good. in any case a place repetition.

Absolutely fantastic menu with great choices and variety.

Had a nice meal and drinks with the wife and 2 young kids. Good pub grub, well cooked, decently priced, service attentive. Felt welcome and happy to return. Got a free bottle of wine because we were forced to rearrange bookings due to the staff being ill but didn't even have to ask for it and they offere, which is better than most places, it shows that they care about service, not just profits.

Had an awesome Sunday lunch here with my family, the roast lunch was fantastic and I’m pretty fussy when it comes to a good roast! The meat was cooked perfectly (I had the triple or whatever it was called so, all the various meats) and the roasties/veg/gravy were all equally as beautifully cooked and very tasty. Only comment would be that the Yorkshire’s weren’t epic but they were still good. My wife’s burger looked amazing and all our deserts were first rate. That in conjunction with nice wine (at the correct temperature) and friendly, attentive staff, will ensure we will go back again. Thank you for a lovely afternoon with my family!

We had a lovely experience at the Horsebox Pizza Oven on Friday night. The pizzas looked absolutely fantastic! The pub was quite busy around 6 PM, but it closed at 10 PM, which made me wonder if that’s the usual closing time. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit!
