Lotus Pizza E Cucina - CHIOGGIA

Rolled up without a reservation no big expectations as Lotus is one of many on the Sottamarina tourist strip. Food was surprisingly good, not least our seared tuna beautifully cooked, flavoured presented. Other dishes including pizza got the thumbs up from our group too. Service was friendly efficient. Not a huge amount of atmosphere though, the lighting is as bright as a hospital operating theatre.

We were drawn to the place by the large variety of pizzas and if you love mediocre food and bad service, this place is a must a must visit! We are tourists and don’t speak Italian, the outdoor waiting staff looks at you and treats you like you’re a piece of scum. They don’t have a menu in any other language than Italian and if you ask for some help (I really don’t speak Italian) you’ll get a loud and clear “NO”. Steer clear from this place!

We were attracted by the variety of the pizza on the menu, but have to say it really was nothing special. Service was just average and so was the pizza. Also many mosquitos that didn't make the experience any better.

Molto bella locale e molto buona pizza, per sicuramente tornare. buone anche proposte senza glutine.

Bello arredato bene. Buon cibo. Ho un fritto misto: morbido non gommoso. Bene. anche le pizze che sono passate hanno avuto un bell'aspetto.
