Islands Chino

I ordered pickup. Chicken tortilla soups. The had no chicken. Maybe only little strands of the shredded chicken. No other things. Two pieces of avocado. No signs of cheese. I picked up at 8:40 pm. Do not get this at 8:40 pm. I think we got the last of what was in the pot. It was served about 75% of the container, and was mostly the broth. Get this during daytime.

We went at 1:00 and it was pretty empty. Maybe 3 other tables. Service was somewhat slow. I ordered the pipeline burger. Chili had. Zero flavor. I mean absolutely added nothing to the burger. The fries were the best though. They remind me of In n Out fries.. Honestly should have gone there instead..

This place is a classic . Sad to see a lot of them closing down . They have decent burgers . I usually get the veggie burger because it has a great taste and it’s thick ! But this time we opted for the impossible patty and I was a little disappointed. Couldn’t really taste it and it was super thin . I’ll stick to the veggie patty . The sweet potato fries were pretty soggy. I would not get those just regular fries next time. The ranch for some reason it’s super watery. I think they dilute it with water- it was dripping all over the place !!! The service was good, however and it’s always chill vibes.

I miss the surfboard tables but the staff is still super friendly

Having my car serviced so Wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. Cool vibe. Very friendly staff. Good crispy chicken sandwich. Wife had sliders. Best news is, we have leftovers. We will return.
