Original Joe's - Chilliwack

My partner and I tried Original Joe's for the first time last night. The food was delicious, but the service was subpar. He ordered the Cobb Salad, and I, the Nashville crispy chicken sandwich.My partner waited 25 minutes to recieve his cider while he was waiting for me to arrive from work. He also wasn't greeted upon arriving, and had to seat himself.His salad also didn't come with the avocado it was supposed to (probably one of the most expensive parts of the dish) and he didn't realize it until about 3/4 of the way through. Had the server been around more than once to check on us, he may have mentioned it, but he didn't want to wait until the end of his meal to do so. He also had to go up to the front to pay, instead of the server asking about bills.My food and drink was delicious, despite the fact.I hope this was just a one-off and someone was just having an off night, because I really did enjoy the food. Hopeful the subpar service won't happen again.

It took them 27 minutes to get me a drink. The server looked me in the eye three times and did not come and check in or serve me. The food was mediocre at best and they messed up the order. The entire experience was bad. The server only had 4 tables at the time too so it’s not like they were swamped. Just poor everything. Not worth the time, money or effort. Go anywhere else but here- I’m sure papa Johns across the parking lot would give better service and experience than this place. 0/5 stars if I could

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered for take out on valentines day at 530pm and the online order said it would be ready for pickup at 630pm. I arrived at 625pm and fully expected to be waiting as they would likely be busier than normal on valentines day. What I did not expect was to have to wait for 1 full hour. Absolutely no communication from any of the servers or a manager on wait time and not even an apology for the wait was offered when I was finally given my take out food. The food was cold and was not enjoyable whatsoever. Very very disappointed

Probably the worst dine in experience I've had. First the table was sticky, waitress took our drink order, once the drinks finally came they weren't very good. It took ages to take our food order. It was over an hour just to get our appys. When our food eventually arrived. 5 out of the 6 meals were cold. My buger was mediocre at best, the beef dip was barely warm, fish tacos were soggy. Garlic toast was mushy. Lettuce wrap had wrong type of Lettuce. We brought this to the attention of the manager. They brought us fresh fries(which were good) but of course we had wait even more. They gave us a 10% discount on our food only. They offered 2 free desserts when there was clearly 3 separate bills. I gave ours up to the birthday girl. Terrible food, terrible service and when given a chance to make it right, instead a slap in the face.

Our server, MacKenzie was super lovely. She treated my elderly father with such kindness making him feel so welcome and comfortable. We'll definitely be back.
