Unfortunately there are only 4 stars for the ambience. This is logically due to the direct lake location. The food was a medium catastrophe. I ordered the Caesar Salad. This came without dressing (the waiter told me very rudely that there was no dressing on the menu . It was also anything but a classic Caesar salad: iceberg lettuce, peppers, cucumber, tomato and cold cut chicken breast slices. There was also a snotty response to this notice. It is probably a matter of interpretation how to prepare a salad. The icing on the cake, however, came with the bill we were 6 in total, paid the amount shown on the waiter's display (including tip! and asked for a receipt. On this train, the waiter noticed that he had booked 2 single chocolates on our bill. He returned us 10€ in cash without a word of apology. We are regular guests on the Fraueninsel and will definitely never go there again.

If you don't want to go to a beer garden on Fraueninsel, you basically have to come here. The name promises a fancy city bar with hip cocktails. In the end it was a normal beer garden with beer, very shallow drinks and very small portions. Visibility is only ok because you are basically looking at a boat parking lot. The prices are expensive, but are ok for an island and location. Service: Dine in

We were there yesterday for coffee/cake. Unfortunately, the cake is the cheapest frozen product that sells at a high price. Coffee was ok, the elderberry spritzer actually only tasted like water, a little decoration wouldn't hurt either. The table was adorned with a pot of dead herbs, which was probably rosemary. Overall, the restaurant is not recommended, an absolute tourist rip-off. It used to be nice and tasty here. Food: 1

Beautiful view of the lake, but the fish stinks. If you notice this, the service becomes stinky. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
