Bidrage med feedbackWe went to the new location On Oroville Ave, went to hear the Jazz music very much enjoyed the music fabulous food. We will definitely go back
Great beer choices on tap from many breweries that I had never heard of. The menu is much more extensive than 3 years ago when I visited last time. The deviled eggs is a must. Soup of the day was smoked salmon with potatoes and it was awesome. Sliders were good however I probably won't be reordering mine (the Cubano) as it just didn't have that much flavor.
Holy shit... I don't usually write reviews but I had to say something. The Gouda Ham Sandwich was the best thing I've eaten in years. That combined with the smoke trout chowder, amazing beer, jazz music in my ears, and old school X-Files on the TV meant I was literally speechless in ecstasy. That was only tonight. They let me bring my dog in and have homemade pigs ears and dog biscuits. I have honestly probably eaten more biscuits than my dog. Every other night here has been amazing as well. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.
Yesterday's road trip was a short little jaunt down to Chico California. We went to check out my sons new place and he treated us to lunch. He's new in town but already found some favorite eats and tap houses. The Winchester Goose was on his list so we gave it a go. Nice vibe in a old red brick building, with tall ceilings, dark wood furnishing and defiantly a pub setting...they have a tap board; Josh said the sliders were epic and he ordered them. I had to order this bacon plank with crispy flatbread, mustards and a olive jam. Josh and I did a little sharing so as to try both worlds. They made vegetarian sliders for my wife. They weren't on the menu but the very talented and accommodating chef did us a fav. In addition we had spicy almond, pickled deviled eggs, bruschetta and a few beers. The food was excellent, service a bit weak but the food made the wait worth while...and family conversation makes the time fly by.
Eclectic beer, amicably natural service, just wish I could have their savory bites on a Monday night! Alec has the best playlist in town, and the service here renews my faith in humanity. If you don't like the scenery in here, both ron Swanson and I will happily snicker at your complete lack of knowledge when it comes to fine woodwork and even more commendable human beings. Speaking of knowledge, met Lucas today and I feel I've been taught enough to practically become a brewmaster. I even tried to give them the most vague description of beer that I liked, they picked my brain until I found my new favorite beer: juiced above the clouds. There is no shortage of compelling conversation here. The open invitation to all doggos makes me trust this bar moreso than any other in town. Haven't tried all the food here, but yes, I will be that white girl and attest that this is my favorite salad in town(beer comb is an absolute must) The kitchen runs an adventurous menu, with curious specials that are both epic and salivating. Five stars goes to the service here, which I think is the best in town. These guys know how to bring customers back.
