Los Potros - Chickamauga

Very bad costumer service our waiter was flirting with us and we are all minors he said if we have him sloppy toppy he would give us our food for free

Usually a friendly place and usually quick service with steady quality. Just a nice convenient Mexican restaurant in the heart of Chickamauga.

We went in on a Saturday night. When we got there we were seated quickly and we were one of maybe five other tables there. I guess that should have been my first clue that maybe this place wasn't the best. My daughter has been here before with friends and has been begging to go back. After waiting 30 minutes, someone finally took our order. The taco my wife ordered had ice cold cheese on it and was barely warm. We shared fajitas. There were some shrimp that had not been properly cleaned and deveined. We asked for no tomatoes and it had tomatoes. Overall, the food didn't taste good and the service was terrible. When I asked to speak to the manager he seemed like he could care less about my concerns and didn't even apologize. Instead he said that all the shrimp come like that from a bag, yet magically over half of them were properly cleaned. Most of the staff was rude. This was my first and last visit. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else!

Everything I’ve tried here is good but my favorite is the Adams Special.

If Los Potros was located in an area with more selections, I would probably rate this place a 3, but (since there aren 't many restaurant choices in downtown Chickamauga) I 'll give it a 4. I wouldn 't drive out of my way to eat here, but it is convenient, quick, and inexpensive if you 're looking to stay within Chickamauga. I usually stop in when I 'm home visiting my parents. Over the Christmas holiday, I called in for carry out and on, New Year 's Eve, about 12 of us dined in. Carry out was quick and easy. The call was answered promptly and the food was ready in 15 minutes. Pickup was easy and the order was correct. On New Years Eve, the restaurant was busy, but we were seated immediately. Our order came out a little messed up as they served the food for our table along with an adjacent table (not in our party) and there was a bit of confusion regarding which table ordered which entree. The issues were mostly corrected, though my husband settled for an entree he did not order just because he didn 't feel like addressing the issue. I 'm sure I 'll be back the next time I visit my parents.
