Bidrage med feedbackJunya was a fantastic server, absolutely hilarious. Made my night, bright me fantastic cocktails (my compliments to the bartender) He was super friendly and absolutely made my night. I'm definitely glad I came here, I don't think I would have had as much fun tonight without his fantastic attitude
I really like the interior design of this place, which, depending on where you sit, is an airy cafe, a bar, or a fairly intimate restaurant. Like most fusion places, they 're not really doing a fusion of cuisines, but just offering more than one, in this case, Japanese and French, with a bit of American thrown in. My favorite dish was the mussels, which were served in a wonderful somewhat spicy broth that made a great soup, too. The tuna tartare was also excellent quality, and the tempura was light and not oily. The wine list emphasizes French wines, with some nice selections, but no bargains. Service was friendly.
First time coming to this place . We picked it because it was part of restaurant week. The brunch menu was a really good deal . I loved the fried chicken , the desserts and the drinks the most . I didn't care about the scrambled eggs with muffin , the Japanese Omu rice was much better , that wine sauce was really tasty . I'm still dreaming about their chocolate lava cake . What I didn't like about this place was the service , we easily had to wait around 20-30 minutes between courses , our waiter forgot to bring a couple extra dishes we order at the beginning (besides the restaurant week menu and it was hard to get his attention . We wanted to order more drinks , try more things but it was just difficult to order .
Yoshi's is a neighborhood institution, and for some odd reason this was my first time visiting despite living in the neighborhood for 10+ years. WHAT A MISTAKE on my part! Everything was perfect about our experience, from the food, to drinks, to service to COVID precautions. Highly recommend the Wagyu double smash burger but everything ordered from my party looked delicious and everyone was satisfied. Trust me, it won't be another 10 years until I go back...
I am not sure who owns this now, can I rent a parking space from Yoshis parking lot? Thanks!
