The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Not pictured: the cannoli that solved all of my problems… it was gone too quickly. Amazing food.

This place used to be great and a favorite local spot, but feels like it’s taken a turn for the worse lately.Not sure if new owners or management, but the prep and quality of the food has diminished substantially over recent months. Food now looks nothing like how it used to or in photos below, meat portions reduced, and ingredients are consistently missing. Tuna Salad I ordered today was missing nearly all toppings… just small tuna scoop on top of lettuce…Also, last time I was in there I saw what looked to be a young child (10-13year old) in the back making my sandwich and it was poorly made and totally skimped on meat quantity. Giving two stars be because it was once my favorite local spot, but sadly we will be going to Southport more now for our sandwiches.

Great place! Service was fantastic, restaurant seating was clean and comfortable. Food was a little bland, but overall acceptable for what we ordered. For lunch it was reasonably priced. I'd go back again.Food: 4/5

I love lasagna and tried Tuscan Hen's frozen take-home versions 3 times (2 Bolognese; 1 spinach w/ricotta). Unfortunately, it does not cook correctly based on the exact instructions printed on the package. After the second try, I told the store clerk that something is not right, but she paid no attention to my concern. On my last (recent) try, I increased the (verified) oven temp to 350 degrees and still ended up with soupy lasagna. It does not seem reasonable to me that a fully frozen product will cook in 50-55 minutes at 300 degrees, as results have shown. After spending $60+, I'm giving up. Please verify cooking steps and modify the package labelling. Thank you.

We have ordered catering from Tuscan Hen a few times and have been very happy with them, in particular this last time. We got many compliments from our guests and everyone enjoyed the food very much. The new owner is very responsive and truly cares about customers’ happiness. Highly recommend this place!
