The Pasta Bowl Lincoln Park - Chicago

First timer here. I had the chorizo breakfast bowl and OJ. Had to wait like 10 mins to get a table and then another 35-40 mins to get food! Thats too much wait to get brunch. The food was nice though. Also, it would be nice to NOT see a chewing gum in your server’s mouth when he is taking orders. This place is BYOB too.Would give this place another try though.

We chose outdoor seating. Noting that the inside was quite charming and definitely family friendlyGood was taste and visually pleasing. They seemed to be short staffed so refills and condiments were not offered. We will definitely return. I had bagel and lox with fresh fruit. The other order was eggs and GF toast.

Awesome food and staff! The food was soooo good...dtr and I each had a scramble (poached eggs cooked to perfection! and hubby had the omelet...I also had the pancakes...everything was DELISH! Ingredients fresh and tasty and yet he pancake super fluffy and tasty! Great coffee too! And staff was so friendly and attentive! Don't miss this spot!

Food was great. Just walking by and needed lunch. Place looked cute so we gave it a go. Big portions.

The food was good. I don't like leaving negative reviews of small businesses but I will say that I was really disappointed in the service. We came on a busy Saturday so I can understand service being slow but can't excuse service that is both slow and very rude. We brought a bottle for BYOB and didn't receive glasses to drink it until the same time that our food came out- fine, no big deal, however this meant that once we finished eating we still had leftover champagne to finish. The employees kept pressuring us to leave even though we hadn't even been there longer than an hour, and as I mentioned, we had drinks that needed finishing since our glasses came out so late. If we'd been there for hours on end I'd be more understanding. I'll also clarify that they didn't verbally ask us to leave but they made it pretty clear by coming to our table numerous times (like probably over 5 times- after initially clearing our plates while we were just sitting there finishing our drinks) and grabbing an empty glass or spare napkin, wiping random spots of the table over and over, giving us looks, and asking if we were done or if we needed anything else. Yes that is a busser's job to clear the table but in this situation the repeat visits to our table when we very obviously were just finishing our drinks and overall demeanor made their intentions to shove us out very clear.
