St Rest No 2 Country Kitchen - Chicago

So myself my son and his father went yesterday around the afternoon time and let me just say this, I was greeted by a sweet older woman who I'm assuming was the owner, just so nice and friendly. Then the lady who served us at the buffet was awsome, so polite and professional, she was so patient with us since this was our first time at the restaurant. Now the food, the best part, was so damn good. The mac n cheese and homemade mash potatoes was so flavorful, the meatloaf was good, the rib tips was good, the strings beans and potatoes was sooo damn good, the baked chicken was juicy and seasoned well. And the homemade lemonade had the right amount of sugar. I'm going back to try the dressing and beef short rib.

It's A must visit! EVERYTHING was delicious, service was EXCELLENT! Will B back.

Absolutely delicious food made and served by a welcoming and friendly staff. Everything was excellent. Worth a trip out of your way for. I will be thinking about that Mac and Cheese for a long time.
