Bidrage med feedbackSuper yummy. Get the hot peppers, you won’t be disappointed
Good, but prices are outrageous and it seems to have less meat in the sandwich than in the past.
I went there at 2:20pm and they said they were out of bread. Later my coworker went and they said they were out of meat. Clearly the staff just didn’t feel like working today.
Because of the intense competition, some restaurant chains choose not to locate any franchises within the Chicago city limits. Potbelly Sandwich Shop isn't one of them. The counter-serve chain that focuses on submarine sandwiches and shakes was established in 1977 by Peter Hastings, who started serving sandwiches in his antique shop in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. In 1996, a regular customer, Bryant Keil, bought the shop and created Potbelly Nation. Today, there are 434 restaurants in the United States, 112 in Illinois, 46 in Chicago. One is at 508 North Clark Street in Chicago's River North neighborhood, at West Illinois Street. Open from 9 to 5 daily, it also offers soup, smoothies, chips and cookies. But Potbelly is all about the sandwiches. The signature sandwich is the Wreck with roast turkey, smoked ham, roast beef, salami and Swiss cheese. Other popular sandwiches are the Italian with salami, capicola, pepperoni, mortadella and provolone, Mama's meatball with home-style beef and pork meatballs smothered in marinara sauce, provolone and Italian dressing, tuna salad with 100 percent albacore tuna salad and Swiss cheese, steakhouse beef with Angus roast beef, crumbled bleu cheese, provolone and horseradish aioli and chicken club with grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon and cheddar cheese.
I ordered sandwich today and asked for everything in it even confirmed each item one by one. When I got home and open it, it had nothing but tomato, hot papers and tuna with cheeses. She missed salad, pickles, dressing, and ect. I even asked for double pickles.Extremely unhappy.
