Pilsen Yards - Chicago

I always have a great time at Pilsen Yards. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and food and drinks are always delicious. I always sit at the bar and get excellent service from Rico and Charlie. Thank you guys for making my visit even better! :

This is a great place to re-hash how you’ve been wronged. Do so in the bright sun room and kick things off with the fundido dip. The dip is as cheesy as your ex’s linked in profile photo. Food is fine nothing special, disappointed in the salsa. Kinda shocked they don’t have rice beans but not the biggest deal. The atmosphere on the patio might be nicer in the summer but in the winter it feels like you’re in a greenhouse without any plants with the tent covering. Also cold with water leaks at some tables (we were able to switch tables but another couple was sat at ours immediately after).

Great atmosphere and nice space for large groups of friends. Solid non-alcoholic offerings as well!

Fast service and the food is prepared quickly.In the summer they have an outdoor dining space in the back that is very pleasant. During the winter they enclose a portion of that and keep it heated for dining.They often have live DJs. The music is kind of loud at times so just expect that.All of the food I have tried there is good. They have a ton of gluten free options and they will let you know if there is expected cross contamination, like with frying oil. I particularly liked the carne asada and the queso fundido.Typically you can walk in on weeknights but I would get a reservation just to be safe. For Christmas they do a giftcard sale that comes out to be 125 dollars for 100 dollars.Dietary restrictions: Good for gluten free
