Phil's Pizza - Chicago

I wanted to try a new pizza joint in Chicago. What a great choice. I had a large pizza half sausage 1/4 pepperoni and 1/4 onions and bell peppers. Every last section of my pizza was cooked to perfection. I even ate the crust on the pizza. I never do that. This is definitely a spot I will be returning to really soon. Keep up the excellent work

Got delivery arrived super HOT and it was delicous, Ordered the Phil special and sausage pep pizza very very goodFood: 5/5

First time at Phil’s and I didn’t expect to be disappointed! The crust was thick and only half baked and the sausage didn’t have any flavor. The mushrooms were off putting and seemed canned, but I don’t know.The people inside are nice.

Giving them 3 stars NOT because the food isn’t great but whyyyyy DON’T they have GRUBHUB, UBER EATS, or DOOR DASH if your drivers are going to say “that’s to far” for a 13 min drive?? seems like they think they’re making to much money to do it when there’s Resturants in their area that have it.. seems kinda selfish to the customers. I’m sure if business was slow they would get it.. I requested they get it 9 months ago they never did.

Its never good when you have to swallow the taste of disgust with the food you eat, it 's really hard to digest to be honest, but, I digress..... I have MY Pizza spot, Palermos, which I go miles out of my way to get for as much as its one of the best tasting Pizzas but for the good, courteous service, but after being told a couple of times by someone to try 'Phil 's ' I did because I 'm a Pizzahead I also just like supporting Chicago. The order taking was rushed, not pleasant and even for their part I wasn 't asked if I wanted anything more. Get there and tho the pizza was ready as promised but as Im standing there I look up from getting my money to pay only to find a guy back behind the counter there staring me down. Clearly, I wasn 't welcome or wanted. Then another one gave me the stare down for a minute. Yes, its really crazy to spend your hard earn money with a place that 'll be disrespectful to you and treat you like shzz, but I had actually come from far away and then I really wanted to taste what I was told was some good pizza. As far as the pizza, it wasn 't actually good. Just okay. That has nothing to do with the so what rude service [there was more] and the not being welcome.. Pizza just wasn 't good. 1/2* star.
