Patio Beef - Chicago

Not fancy but clean, staff friendly and the Chicago dog, fries, fried veggies and Italian beef were spot on. We will be back!

I’m from 1977 and one of my best childhood memories was going to this place once a week to have a cheeseburger while my mother was at the laundromat a couple doors down . I still enjoy it so much to this present time but now with my own children.

Been coming for years and the ladies behind the counter are always kind and provide good service. I can't say that about the male proprietor who always looks at me as though I were about to steal the ketchup and run (at 60). LOL As a 30-year taxpayer in Edgewater he needs to wake up and realize we all live here.

It’s made to order, so technically it’s my fault. I went with the Italian Beef sub, dry, no peppers.It’s definitely a sub needing some wetness (olive oil) and peppers.Customer service was great though
