Osteria Del Pastaio - Chicago

The food was really good. I wished it had been larger servings. The service staff was very nice and accommodating. It was definitely good enough to go there again.

The food was way better this time around. Service was great and the suggestions that were given were delicious! It would be great for a date night or happy hour with friends.

Osteria del Pastaio is where carbs and grapes go to become celebrities. The pasta’s so good, you'll consider it a personal friend, and the wine? It'll make you forget all your exes.

Came in with the intention to try the cheese wheel pasta that everyone is raving about. They come to you table side to prep the dish so it's a fancy little show which I initially was skeptical that this was just hype because of the experience rather that the taste but I was shocked to say that I actually LOVED the dish. This was the Pecorini Al Tartufo Nero. It's best when it's still hot and while it is one of their pricier dish, I would have this again. The rest of the dishes I got (Bruschetta for appetizer, Linguine Vongole for entree, and Profiteroles for dessert) were alright. Nothing about them really stood out to me that much.

Loved the food here! Their bread service was decent, but the pastas were amazing!
