New Furama - Chicago

Attended a gala there. The food was served family style. Everything was good. The room is large and comfortable. They have audio-visual capacity and stage lighting. It's in Chinatown parking was available the evening of the event.

Been going to Furama for the last 20 years of my life. Before I move to the burbs. My family has known Nancy and Eddie since I was a little girl when they had karaoke back in the days ???????????? That's how old I am now! Pretty decent dim sum. Friendlystaff. If you pay cash, you let them know ahead of time and they will give you a 10% discount. Parking is always good there andyou can stop by the Chinese grocery store beneath. We always go to Furama when we crave for dim sum. Absolutely delicious! Myfavorite is the Ha Gow and of course the Siu Mai! ????????????

First time to this Restaurant for Dim Sum. The food was delicious. The items were quite authentic, to the cooking style of a true Cantonese tea house. The setting was good too. Will go again for supper.

I attended a wedding here on Friday and would not recommend this venue. First of all, the parking lot just finished getting paved as the first guests arrived, so the tar ended up on people's shoes. The wedding was on the 3rd floor and the elevatordidn't work, which is especially horrible when you have elderly and disabled guests. The people serving the meal gave differentanswers on what meat was in each entree, which is concerning for people with dietary restrictions or allergies. The serverswere not picking up dirty plates till they were taking away the food. The servers did not refill the carafes of water at all inthe 5 hrs we were there. And the food was not good.
