Medici On 57th - Chicago

Went for a rooftop lunch and had a very pleasant experience. Our server was fun, and the food was delicious. I got the Spinach Lasagna, with plain Cheesecake for desert. Nice portion sizes.Food: 4/5

Food was fresh and delicious! We stopped for a late lunch, so seemed we had bad timing for attentiveness to service due to things winding down from a possible lunch crowd. Upstairs was closed due to capacity even though we saw patrons consistently leaving the area and it took a while for a server to get to our table (despite having a table next to station and have at least 3 pass looking at us ??‍ However, the waitress we did have was very friendly and helpful with the menu and the food came out quickly once we got the chance to order. I think it’s worth trying again on our next trip to Chicago, but at a different time of day.

Very cute atmosphere. Excellent food. I felt the waiter was a little slow but we were probably just moving fast to try to get out of there before our toddlers got impatient. The we had burgers and apple pie everything was excellent!Kid-friendliness: High chairs are a little small if you have older toddlers that need a high chair (mine is 4 yrs) he got stuck in it. Sound really carries so if your toddler is really excited it may disturb other tables. Tables were pretty close to one another. Nice bathroom but No changing table.

This is a really nice family community restaurant. I've only had their delicious shakes and GF grilled cheese, but my daughter and her friends eat here all the time. Staff is very friendly. I accidentally left my credit card and they held on to it and then shredded it for me.

Food was good, coffee was fantastic, and the service was friendly. Beautiful rooftop outdoor seating. Unfortunately the whole place reeked of fabuloso (a cheap cleaner that stinks so badly you can actually taste it.)Food: 5/5
