There was no valet service available at the time I arrived food was ok not worth the price

This past Friday I brought my nephew (11) here before taking him to his first Broadway musical at the Cadillac Palace Theater. He loves seafood so I thought this would be a fun experience for him before the show. We were shown to our table and I immediately notice the lighting is extremely dark and observe that the light above our table is out. I mention this to our server when he arrives and before I can finish my sentence he responds “that’s just the lighting” in a very dismissive tone. I explained to him again that the light is out and he says again it’s just the lighting. So I get up and show him that other tables have a light directly above the table and ours doesn’t because the light was out. Only then does he offer to have us move to another table. I’m not sure what the issue was with this particular server but his lack of interest in listening to me or accommodating my request rubbed me the wrong way. Our new sever was kind and the food was pretty good although the service felt a bit slow. I don’t know if it was just an off night but the experience we had was not the experience I expected. I’ve dined here a few times before and had an overall pleasant experience, however for the price point there are better options right across the river.

A wonderful seafood spot! Delicious and reasonable portions for the price. Our server Kevin was exceptional and recommended me the sole with the picatta shrimp, which was absolutely delicious. Will definitely visit again next time I’m downtown!

Went here specifically for a steak dinner. The ambiance, lighting, and atmosphere here were top-notch. Service was good. The steak, on the other hand, was just ok. Now, what I've learned is that if you want a mediocre steak, you'll find them at a price point of $50-$60 within the downtown Chicago area. I ordered the Bone-in Ribeye. One of their best steaks cooked medium rare. It was just ok. I've had way better at Texas Roadhouse. So, just a word of caution for steak lovers. The place absolutely rocked in ambiance, mood, service, and lighting.

Absolutely love this place for happy hour. Want to try actual dinner next time
