Longman Eagle - Chicago

The food at Longman Eagle is consistently good, which makes the wait for spotty service worthwhile. We visited on a busy Saturday, but the restaurant was clearing by the time we finished our meal. Go for the food, expect so so service.Rooms: 3/5

This place is fabulous. The food is outstanding. It's not a wonder why they have more than one Michelin Star. The bourbon, whiskey and rye selection is unbelievable. If you're intimidated by how much they have and you're looking to try something new, tell them what you usually drink or like and they can recommend something for you. If you're looking for what you usually drink or like, they probably have it.It's right off the Logan Square blue line stop and the bus stop is right there too. The neighborhood is really quiet and nice.

Absolutely delicious options for brunch- definitely will be coming back for dinner! I got the Eggs Benedict which came with homemade English muffins, hollandaise sauce, thick bacon, and roasted broccoli. Not too heavy but very filling! Service was wonderful and the atmosphere is great

Excellent food in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Limited reservations for dinner and no res for brunch/patio/bar, so if you walk-in at a prime time, be prepared to hang out for a short bit. Lovely patio and brunch-time donuts at the back bar!

The food is always delicious here, and they have the best cocktails in the neighborhood. Vibe is laid back hipster foodie. Service is outstanding, you can tell everyone is happy to work here which we love to see.
