Kitty O'sheas - Chicago

Our server was fantastic and very welcoming. When we arrived, they had just opened. We ordered coffee and breakfast entrees. I had the avocado toast and my husband had an egg dish with hash browns and toast. I really don’t know how they prepared the avocado mash for the toast, but nothing about it tasted like an avocado. I eat avocado and various types of avocado mash all the time, but this was not avocado! It was some sort of watery green stuff that tasted nothing like an avocado. My husband ordered the eggs and they also lacked any sort of flavor as well, and the hash browns were exactly like McDonalds hash browns served brick style, only these tasted like they had been deep fried five times in a row. The restaurant got very busy, very quickly after we arrive, so our server was quickly swamped with customers. We were hungry so we ate it, but never again. What a waste of $50!!!! Don’t go here unless you just want to sit and drink a beer. Food is no go for sure!

Connected to the Hilton with access to the inside.This was a really nice place to have available while I was staying at the hotel. Classic Irish pub environment, with a bustling dining room during dinner time. The menu is succinct, with classics like fish and chips alongside some unexpected dishes, providing a comfortable range of options. I had the potatoe soup, and it was top-notch, served with a soft slice of soda bread.Servers were very quick for such a busy restaurant.Outside seating available.

I love a good Irish pub, it was a little loud but it was a Saturday night and packed so that’s what you want!The Guiness was poured well and the fish and chips came out quick and was really solid. Love the chips.The wings were really flying out to multiple tables and looked great, need to try those next time.Our server was extremely quick and attentive.Great spot if you are in Millenium park to wrap up the day of adventures.

Very warm and welcoming place! The food was out super fast and hot......well.... Not my lobster on my lobster roll, which may be a way it's served here. Could've used more sauce, but the brioche/texas type roll was very yummy! Mom enjoyed the fish and chips! BUT THE STAR ARE THE POTATOES WEDGE LIKE FRIES!!!! YUMMY YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!!! ?

The fish and chips were kind of bland but the portion was good and had potential. They do serve it with salt and malt vinegar so maybe they expect people to add the flavor themselves? Convenient option if you’re staying at the Hilton Chicago and want a quick bite but otherwise not worth going out of your way… also the music selection was awful and tacky
