Hugo's Frog Fish House - Chicago

Staff polite and knowledgeable about menu and the frog legs were divine

Frog legs were absolutely phenomenal, nice garlicky flavor and very tender. Escargot and garlic butter with toasted crustini bread was perfectly matched. Halibut was a good size and light and flaky with a nice buttery flavor. Peas and mushrooms that came with it were fantastic. Dining partners seared tuna pouvre was perfectly seared with a nice peppery bite to it. Carrot cake dessert must of weighed several pounds for a single slice. Love this place and will return when coming back to Chicago.

Hey atmopshere. we sat in the elevator table. quiet, intimate, unique! food was good. asapagus grilled a bit unevenly. great service

We travelled to Chicago for my birthday and this restaurant did not disappoint. There was a great selection of items on the menu and the service was GREAT! It was not far from our hotel so we were able to walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hugo's Frog Bar.

Great alternative to Gibson's. A little more casual, and great seafood offerings. If your going for steak, head next door to Gibson's. Hard to beat.
