Bidrage med feedbackWe were visiting from Denver and were excited to try this place for months now. The pancakes were delicious! We tried 3 different ones and the original were by far our favorite. Also, you have to try their peach green tea! However, the service was pretty disappointing. The cashier had an attitude towards all the guests and was critiquing everything we asked for. They brought 2 out of 3 dishes we ordered so one of us had to wait another 25min for their plate. We also waited for silverware for over 10 min. The restaurant had no ventilation so the temperature in the place was unbearable. The food was delicious but the service was so chaotic and it felt as though the place is run by inexperienced people who need to be more organized.
The pancakes were light and fluffy and oh so good! The peach green tea was great! The strawberries weren't ripe enough, they could have waited another day but that was it. The wait was long, so be prepared for a line out the door and another 30-45 minutes when you get in and sit down.
We waited for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, even though they initially informed us it would only take about 40 minutes. The food is okay, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the long wait. It’s probably because this is the only place in the city that serves soufflés, not necessarily because the food is amazing. It’s currently 2 pm, and there’s nothing else left on the menu except for soufflés. On top of that, the wait for the food was an additional 40 minutes, even though they knew there were many people waiting outside. AND the pancakes were so undercooked.
Here right now. Ordered 2 pancakes 3:06 only got one pancake order at 3:51 then other one came at 3:55. This is after asking for our order twice. I spoke to Edmond (staff) that we have waited a long time and all he could say is ‘oh I don’t know what I can do’. Poor customer service. There were lots of empty chairs, so it’s not like they were packed! Don’t come if you are in a rush!
These pancakes are so light and airey I loved them . I got the Taro Pancakes and the Matcha. I recommend going really early huge lines and long wait for pancakes to be made . We got there a little bit after 1030 and waited about 30 mins for a table and another 40 for the pancakes to be made . Service could use a little more organization as dishes were brought out one by one . One pancake was served and then waited another 5 mins for the other one to be brought out . Overall tho great pancakes and my first time trying these traditional pancakes !
