Bidrage med feedbackA group of friends and I drove several hours and visited yesterday… A VIBE! From the food to the service, top tier. What I want to highlight tho, is security. Ladies you KNOW after several mimosas, it’s over for wearing heels. Denzel was working the door as security and he was so kind in helping me change out my heels and into my sandals so I could proceed with my afternoon! That was so small yet so meaningful to me! Thank you for creating an environment where everyone, especially women, can unwind and feel completely safe in their femininity!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Fremont Chicago for Sunday brunch, and it was a truly delightful experience! As a vegan, I was initially concerned about the buffet offerings, but the chef went above and beyond to create some incredibly delicious vegan-friendly potato tacos that left me craving for more. The fact that the extra order came at no additional cost was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance at Fremont Chicago is undeniably lively and high-energy, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. Seated downstairs, I was able to enjoy my food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere. Later, I ventured upstairs and was blown away by the energetic dance floor – an absolute haven for those who enjoy mingling and dancing. The service at Fremont Chicago was exceptional from start to finish. The staff at the door, the servers, and the waitresses all contributed to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. A special shoutout to our server, Nicole, who made our experience feel like a gathering among friends rather than a typical dining affair. Her friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. One thing to note is the dress code. While we followed the guidelines provided on the website, we observed a more lenient approach, maybe it was because it was Sunday...Overall, my visit to Fremont Chicago was an exceptional one. From the vegan creations to indulging in as many mimosas as I could handle, every aspect of the brunch was a hit. If you’re seeking a vibrant and energetic brunch spot with top-notch service, a lively atmosphere, and a chance to dance the day away, Fremont Chicago should definitely be on your list. Cheers to great food, great company, and a fantastic time!
I wanted to enjoy this place but I don’t take racist tendencies lightly. Not a single person was dancing at the Saturday brunch, also they no longer play hip hop or r b because “it gets too rowdy”. Just say you want to make black people uncomfortable so that they don’t return…They came up with a “summer theme” of house dance music to cover up their true intentions. Please. No one enjoyed this music.
I have been to Fremont at least 20 times in the last 6 yrs.. I went a couple of Sundays ago and had a blast.. I incurred the best service in my 20 times. Zoey our waitress did a full rundown of everything.. Since they take your money on the front end including tip and it's a buffet.... We don't always receive that kind of attn from servers.. She was awesome.. and she was like that with all her tables.. Food was SUPER on point.. serve that Cuban sandwich again..please!! Still one of best brunches in the city! Music was ok that day, but it was still such a great time.
We made reservations for the brunch experience. I’ll just start by saying it was not worth the $75. While the waitress was very nice and kept our drinks filled, the food was mediocre at best and did not look anywhere near as good as how it looked online. The biggest problem my group had was with the dress code and the bouncers. The moment we stepped out of our Uber we were told that our shoes were not acceptable. The website states that patrons must wear “polished, practical footwear.” We were wearing flat sandals with two simple straps across the front. We were told by the bouncers that our shoes must either have a heel or a strap around our ankle. No where on the website does it say this. We decided to go buy shoes because we didn’t want to be charged the $75 for not going. However, once we were in we noticed that many of the patrons were wearing flat sandals with no ankle straps, casual tennis shoes, vans, and clothes that did not match the “smart casual dress code“ stated on the website. I would just like to say that I understand there’s a dress code but if you are going turn away patrons for something not stated on the website and not applying the dress code to ALL patrons equally that is not right and decreasing your business. Simply saying “dress to impress” on the website is not specific enough to be turning patrons away. If you want business casual, be extremely specific with your dress code online. Furthermore the bouncers started off our experience on a bad note. They were extremely rude to us regarding the shoes even though we were trying to be very kind and ask questions. When I had tried to ask a question regarding not having my ID on me I was rudely cut off and told to wait till I came back with different shoes. By the time we got back with our “polished, practical footwear” there was a line and we had already lost 20 minutes of our reservation. And once again when I went to tell the bouncer that my ID had been stolen I was rudely shushed and told he “heard me the first time.” While I understand there are times when you have to be firm, this was not warranted to the situation. We will not be returning to this establishment or recommending this experience to anyone.
