Fornello Trattoria - Chicago

The weeping list and eating were pretty good average. the atmosphere felt very old-fashioned and not the good kind. there are much better Italian restaurants out there that have better quality eating for the price. disappointed.

We were unexpectedly surprised by the quality of eating. we did not meet the cook, but the menu and presentation were delicious. kudos chef! service was impeccable, charming and attentive. as a frequent diner in many beautiful restaurants I would say fornello’s is easily a favorit.

Guess I should have read these reviews before ordering last night.

I heard so many great things about this place but we ordered ribs and pizza and both were awful.
