El Solazo - Chicago

Very nice restaurant in west elsdon. Quality food, home made tortillas, nice drink selection. The chocolate tres leches cake was amazing. Service is a little slow. Prices are a little on the high side but worth it

Stopped in late, nice vibes but the service was absolutely amazing! Candy our server was just so helpful and described everything so well. I'll be back just for her!!! Drinks were good, didn't try much food so I'll be back

Long time customer. Even before the fire. Finally had the opportunity to try the new menu. It?s not your typical Mexican restaurant. Instead it?s more of an experience. The service is great and the menu is small but the limited menu gives the chefstime to pay more attention to what they are sending out. Excellent salsas, great food presentation and tasty cocktails. Definitely makes it standout from the rest of the neighborhood restaurants. It?s on the pricier side and that?s the only reasonI am giving it 4 stars. For what?s around you can get more but you will not get the experience that Solazo provides. Go try itout for yourself and make sure to have a reservation.

There food is fireeeee I always go for the chillaquiles verdes or rojos always on point good food !!

I've been a regular for many years now, last year was a bit inconsistent, but I have to say El Solazo came back stronger. I always make it a point to bring my family visiting from Mexico and/or out-of-state. Needless to say, they have all enjoyed it very much, and always ask me to take them back before they leave. Keep up the good work, Pepe!
