Big Little's - Chicago

I ordered the fish sandwich. It was good but the bun they use fell apart about 1/2 through eating. A firmer bun would make it 5 stars in my opinion

A Triple D delight that did nit disappoint.After eating, I was informed that their Episode of Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives aired 12 years ago.We had a desire for fish and chips and I randomly picked this place as we always like to find local restaurants instead of national chains.The beer battered fish was delicious. Two ginormous fillets and a stack of perfectly cooked fries was plenty for two people.Owner Ed ? was nice and was telling me that Guy Fieri and the show have been back repeatedly over the years.We don’t need fancy restaurants we just want tasty eats, this place was on point.I would gladly go back again when in town.

I am only giving this place 1 Star because you have to in order to create a review. We wanted to eat there tonight, Sunday July 25, 2022, but the manager was SO incredibly rude to us when we called to see if they were open, since so many businesses have changed times without notifilying Google lately, and the manager was verbally abusive to my husband that I will NEVER walk through their doors. Never necessary to be so rude.

Fries were old and cold in our take-out order. Food was subpar which is disappointing because I quite enjoy other locations. The guys up-front also have a terrible attitude. Why bother when there are other great options.

It was great the food was amazing no complaints there just a less than welcoming host. The guy in front, usually the gentleman with a very low hair cut was kind of rude to my girlfriend and I when we ordered. I also thought this location closes at 8 but when we came back to get some truffle fries real quick I couldn’t get any food at 7:30 (the time we walked in) because kitchen was closing in 10 minutes and the guy made it very clear that ordering right then was a issue by his attitude. All good we will just go to another location because the food is incredible.
