Or you like the athmosphere, or you hate it. In my opinion there is nothing in between. Mother and son? with the help of a waitress and some staff in the kitchen manage this place, just 4 days a week. Thursday until sunday they serve a small choise of regional food, simple, tasty, no haute cuisine, fancy dishes, just plain served high quality food. Cooked like the nonna herself is in charge. A must
I used to go to this little, typical Ligurian restaurant when I was a child and I was on holidays with my grandparents. Now I go there every time I go back to Chiavari. It never changed: the family running the restaurant is always the same and food, and its quality, as well. Of course the menu and the ambiance are very basic, but this also is the charm of this kind of little restaurant. And the farinata is always one of the best in Chiavari!
