Bidrage med feedbackWhen our Spanish speaking friend asked the local Hotel Concierge where he would take his daughter to celebrate her conclusion, D'Avellino was his proposal. We followed his advice and were not disappointed. Our group enjoyed its version of Calamari with garlic and pepper as well as the delicious Mexican red wine from Baja. We had a variety of entrees, including a delicious vegetarian lasagna and a fillet of beef in vine sauce. I never expect completely authentic Italian (or other ethnic cuisine) in a completely different part of the world, but appreciate the subtle differences you find when a cook interprets the food of another country. The atmosphere at D"Avellino is festive and our group had a great time!
Nothing special but unexpected OK Italian food in a remote location. We are vegetarian and have found some great pasta options on the menu. The staff was really friendly and tried to fulfill all the wishes.
That's the hammer I've ever had. Service was attentive, but they try too hard, but at least try. id give a second star for service, but the food is so bad that I just can't. Gum chicken. saw dust bread and the salad that accompanies the ducks is a joke. I know I know sawdust bread is typical in Mexico, but there is some decent Italian and French bread around and a place like this should definitely be one of the places it has.
The Ravioli with four cheeses was really good and the service was very attentive. The spaghetti blognese is not exactly what I expected, more like cooked meat in a watery tomato sauce.
I wouldn't call this a Italian restaurant just because they serve Pizza and Pasta. The Pizza didn't taste at all, the pasta was ok. Meat was fine, but not Italian style. The size of the servings was good and the waiters did their best. And, I don't want to blame the restaurant, but my little girl got terrible sick after eating there. Summary: If you are just hungry go there, if you want to enjoy, better drive to Tuxta Guiterrez for more choices
