Restaurante Ramon - Chetumal

We have been here several times for meals, and more just to get excellent lemonade. Being somewhat fussy, we like to have ours with agua natural (not soda water) and with Splenda on the side. Yes, yes, fussy. Not a problem here. The menu offers a lot of gringo items, and is open for breakfast. We have enjoyed excellent fish here, and once, with a hint of being homesick, I ordered not fish tacos, but fish and chips. It was just outstanding. While I am not a big fan of tartar sauce, it was served on the side. Lucky for me, they also included the small lime pieces I love. Likewise outstanding are the fish tacos. We loved their huevos mexican style. Even the refried beans and pico de gallo left our table as only memories on their plates. We were there during the winter Olympics and got to see it on the big screen tv when we were there- really nice. I also want to mention their internet- we even did video with our kids, really good internet. Nice people, good service, the owner is personable and turns a hand doing pretty much everything, too.
