Aquataine has best staff!! The food is delicious and the portions are substantial. Excellent presentation. Try the onion soup or mussels they’re so good. The duck breasts are the best. We enjoy the food so much we eat there 3-4 times per months.

We had a lovely dinner, far improved from the past.

The management continues to overbook, so 20 min wait outside before being seated despite reservation. (Fri night) Last time we were seated 10 min late, but mains took nearly an hour to arrive. Staff is definitely frustrated by the overbooking! I'd say they have a bit of a kitchen problem, yet won't reduce bookings. If they just spaced things out 10 mins everyone would be happy... Onion soup had perfect melted cheese on top of barely warm soup! Ugh. Anyhow this place has always been a fave, so hope they get things under control. Wait staff excellent as always and rest of food was top notch.

This used to be our go to French restaurant years ago, but we had not eaten there in several years. The menu is the same, but the food has slipped a notch. The French onion soup was still very good, but could have had more flavor. They split it into 2 crocks for us to share, which was very nice. The melted cheese on top was excellent. The moules frites were very good, but the sauce was less flavorful than I remembered it. The portion was very large, and the frites were excellent. The sole meuniere was mis-named. This should be sauteed sole with a lemony-buttery sauce. Instead, this was a breaded, baked sole rolled up over a bed of tasteless mashed potatoes. I would not recommend this dish. I fondly remembered their warm chocolate pudding cake dessert. However, it no longer has melted chocolate in the center. It was very good, served warm with vanilla ice cream and fruit, but not as memorable as the original. The restaurant was full, and the kitchen was very slow. It took us almost 2 hours to eat 3 courses. Our server was excellent, and apologized for the waits between courses.

We enjoyed our meals. They were very delicious. We will definitely be back.
