Libby's - Chesterfield

Easy parking outside. Lovely cafe with a variety of dishes. Friendly helpful staff. Food is made to order so its not speedy but its good and the drinks come good and hot. We had a good time and will be back

The café is lovely, with welcoming staff and delicious homemade dishes, but the portions are on the smaller side. One of us ordered the veg oatcake, which was also a bit soggy and insufficient in serving size. To truly feel satisfied, make sure to order a dessert as well.

We took our mom out for afternoon tea with a group of five and it was excellent. There was so much food that we had to take some cakes home in a box they provided. We enjoyed delicious little bread rolls with lovely toppings, cheese scones with cream cheese and chutney, blueberry scones with clotted cream and jam, and a lovely selection of small cakes, all accompanied by excellent pots of tea. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Definitely worth a visit.

I love Libby’s, the homemade food is superb, especially the cakes! Staff are always friendly and polite. If it’s sunny ask about sitting in the pretty garden out back. I always suggest coming here for meetings with friends

I had pre-ordered an afternoon tea and was greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. However, I was very disappointed with the contents of the cake stand when it arrived. I have tried many afternoon teas before, but this was one of the worst and most expensive ones I have experienced. I wouldn't recommend it. I didn't complain at the time because I had treated my friend and didn't want to cause a scene, but paying £40 for this was definitely not worth it.
