Cock Magpie Inn - Chesterfield

We had family over from Australia and we decided to have a family meal together to celebrate our nieces 18th birthday. Even though they were fully booked they moved mountains to accommodate us all 16 in total . The food was great and the service brilliant and we were even allowed to hang up some 18th birthday decorations all in all a very pleasant evening was enjoyed thanks to all the lovely staff involved for making it happen.

A quiet relaxing country pub with back garden seating area and a food menu. A good selection of beer.

Mid week and didn't fancy cooking, so we tried this place on our way home, pleasantly surprised. It's a little bit quiet but genuinely lovely traditional pub food and a lovely setting.

Just been here for a beautiful meal. Food is amazing, would highly recommend to anyone. Dog and children friendly. Staff are superb, very friendly and welcoming. Very pleasant place to spend our evening, also finished off with a few games of pool. Will definitely be returning customers. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Sunday lunches are the best around and you get good quality food and plenty of it... not much locally can beat the **** and magpie Sunday lunches. Brilliant
