The Market Pub - Chesterfield

The service was excellent. Our waiter really did go the extra mile to make sure we were happy, enjoying our food and were served in a timely manner despite being super busy on a Sunday. I had home made minced beef and onion pie with thick home cooked chips and mushy peas. Outstanding! Can't fault the place at all. Fantastic. Visited for lunch during the week. Nice cosy traditional pub. Service was friendly and efficient. Great selection of cask ales. Menu choices were appetising and interesting. I had the pie and it's one of the best I've had for a long time, full of delicious filling with home cut and cooked chips along with perfectly cooked vegetables.
