Bidrage med feedbackWe enjoyed our cocktails (banana boulevardier 18 karat) very much and our salads were awesome and not overly sized so that was appreciated. We both had the halibut and it was done to perfection and very tasty but were missing the olives which we asked for and were given to add into the dish. The Zenato trebbiano white wine also accompanied our meal very well. Thank goodness we asked for the description of the desserts as they were quite different from their usual way of making and really accurate. The affogato was quite good and the twist of chocolate mousse was interesting but the chocolate torta was a bit “dry”. We'll be back when next in the area as we enjoyed ourselves.ur server was excellent and the pace of service was great too. We'll be back again!!
What a spectacular place ! The food and service were excellent. I would go back again and again. The cocktails and seasonal dishes were outstanding. The ambiance is very warm and cozy, we celebrated our anniversary but saw families there as well. A really nice dining experience.
Joel, Lani and staff take each entree to a much higher level than any other restaurant we have experienced. I have eaten at many of the restaurant's where the chefs are a james Beard award nominee or award winner. Joel's offerings over the last years has gone from equal to James Beard award nominees to on par or much superior than current and past James Beard award winners. Sourcing of ingredients is a passion of his. Attention to every detail to make each dish outstanding is there in every offering. You come to realize and appreciate the time, cost and effort of true farm or sea to table restaurant which is practiced to the highest degree here. 10 out of 10
The food was amazing as always. My only complaint would be that the 2 most expensive entrees the lobster pasta and the beef short rib were very small portions- while both were delicious , $45 should buy you a bigger portion. Definitely had room for dessert which was also yummy.
On a scale of one to 10, the lobster risotto, one of the specials, was a 12! Chef Joel is a very talented and creative chef. Actually, everything on the menu was a 10. Our wait person Nicole was a delight. Very knowledgeable about the dishes and about the chef. An excellent wine list. Highly recommend Grano Arso as often as you can get there.
