Vegan Wok Go - Chester

I ordered the vegan sweet and sour dish. It came with only 2 small pieces of pineapple, one stalk of broccoli, and mostly noodles. The food was bland and I ended up throwing most of it away. Don't waste your money on this dish.

My partner and I visited Chester and were looking for a quick meal before heading home. My partner, who frequents restaurants in our local area, suggested Wok and Go. It turned out to be a big mistake. We both ordered the sweet and sour box - one small and one regular. Everything was fine until my partner found a bluebottle in his food, near the end of his meal. He could have gotten very sick. He immediately asked for a refund, which the girl working there handled well. However, I think only his meal was refunded, even though I had the same food and couldn't trust mine was okay. The chef had an appalling attitude towards the situation, seeming to find it laughable. This was very unprofessional. My partner and I work in a restaurant, and if this is the chef's attitude, they will lose business. The girl was apologetic and expressed how disgusting it was. I barely ate my meal as it put me off. I will never come back here and would not recommend this place to anyone unless the chef changes his attitude.

My partner and I were deciding where to have lunch and since I had been to the Wok and Go in my area before, I suggested we try the one in Chester. We both ordered the shredded chicken sweet and sour box, with mine being regular and hers being small. The food was fine at first, but as I neared the end of my meal, I discovered a bluebottle fly in one of my forkfuls. This understandably ruined my appetite as blue bottles can produce maggots after death. I showed the lady working there the bug and she promptly gave me a refund. I asked her to show the issue to the chef, but was disappointed to see him react with smiles and giggles. As a chef myself, I was shocked at his lack of concern for the situation. Despite the lady handling my complaint well, I was left disgusted and horrified by my experience. The chef seemed careless and unbothered, which truly soured my time in Chester.

I had the salt and pepper crispy chicken box with rice, tasted burned and was unable to eat it. Definately the worst I've ever had.

Extremely unhelpful staff who wouldn't add a coke onto my order. Simplest of tasks they wouldn't fulfill.
