Toni's Fish - Cheshire West and Chester

I recently changed to Tony’s fish bar from a local competitor, Always consistent with the quality of the food and service from the staff but was blown away with the chicken kebab. Good portion, outstanding flavours and for me the best chicken kebab I have ever had by a mile. Well I have read the other comments and surprised that they have scored 1 out of 5 I do hope you gave them the opportunity to rectify the situation before posting the comments. Tony’s is tip top ,… the cream of the port!

Picked up small fish and chips peas and got home to find it was all reheated brown chips. And they were cold. Did I get the leftovers from yesterday? Really disappointed. Try to support local fish chip shop and this is what happens. My mother has been coming here for years and recommended it. If you are going to charge £6.50 please make it worth the trip…

Now selling overcooked, overpriced, dried up and MICROWAVED Chicken Fried Rice at 8pm in the evening. Crappy bits of chicken in tasteless dried-up rice for £6.60 that even the curry £1.10) couldn't improve. Never again!

The good bits: First visit to Tonys last night, very good covid secure arrangements. Tried large fish and chips (crispy and light) plus mushy peas (as they should be), the fish was cod (very tasty and white), cost £7. Cooked very nicely fresh. You order and pay inside and wait outside for your order. Things to think about (if Tonys ever read read these): Can be difficult to hear them shouting your order from inside when its ready, so be alert!, the fish was far too greasy and all it needs is 10 seconds to drain in basket over the fat and then stacking on their sides in the warmer for 5 minutes. Will I go again oh yes, despite the grease.
