Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant served delicious food, but it was very crowded. We had to return a drink because it was served in a dirty glass with a chip in it. They brought us the same glass, now clean but still with the chip. If a glass is chipped, it should be thrown out. Despite this mistake, the food was still delicious.
During a brief stay in Chester, my husband and I came across this restaurant on TripAdvisor. The ambiance was pleasant and the waitress was friendly. We opted for a reasonably priced bottle of barolo and enjoyed our starters. However, my husband's chicken was average and my pasta marinara was disappointing. The dish was described on the menu as containing prawns, mussels, and squid, but I found only a small amount of flavorless prawns and mussels, along with two rubbery, unidentifiable pieces that I assumed to be squid. Additionally, the dish was filled with cheap seafood sticks instead of the promised seafood. The tomatoes and garlic were barely cooked and lacked flavor. For the price of £13, I expected a more satisfying seafood dish with juicy prawns and mussels, not imitation crab sticks. The waitress was too busy to check on our meals, so I didn't send it back. I ended up picking out the seafood and eating only some of the pasta. We were not charged for the meal, but I was disappointed to not have a full dining experience. When I asked about the inclusion of crab sticks, the waitress informed me that it was standard practice. I expressed my disappointment with the lack of prawns and mussels in shells, but was told that customers often complain about shells in their seafood dishes.
I returned to Pacinos for the second time and once again, I was impressed by the excellent service and food. The sea bass was delicious, generous in portion, and cooked perfectly. The steak was also cooked exactly as I requested, which is sadly not always the case at other places. The sticky toffee pudding was very good, as well as the rhubarb panna cotta. I highly recommend a visit to Pacinos, as it is just a few minutes walk from the center of Chester.
A random choice from the internet. Went with the great reviews and cannot fault it. Friendly service from everyone. Including the other customers… a smiling, laughing baby always helps. Clean tables and restaurant, food was lovely. Just enough that you still had room for the pudding!!! And for 4 of us and a baby eating garlic bread, the price was great as well. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Very enjoyable meal. Lovely local Italian restaurant, with, in my case, excellent artichoke, caper pasta with tomato roasted pepper sauce full of flavour. Service was very friendly value for money very good. Our fellow diners seemed like regulars wish we had somewhere like Pacinos round the corner from where I live.
