Bidrage med feedbackI spontaneously decided to have a light lunch at the restaurant on Saturday (30th July). Although it was busy inside, there was seating available outside. There is also a bar outside. We shared a mezze and ordered a fish finger sandwich. The service was efficient and the food was delicious. The staff were polite and professional. Jamie, who was working at the outside bar, was attentive, friendly, and made our visit enjoyable. It was clear that Jamie was knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Thank you, Jamie, for making our visit relaxed and enjoyable. We look forward to returning soon.
Came all the way down to Sandbach from Haworth W. Yorks to collect some vinyl I'd ordered from my old mate John Beddows of Backtrax records in the market. After a bite to eat in The George I fancied a quick pint before my train back to Crewe. As I used to live in Alsager I already knew the town from many visits so I thought I'd pop into The Bear as it looked, as it always has, quite interesting. Sadly, they were only taking money off families filling their faces. No room at the Inn. Ended up walking all the way back to the station for a quickie in The Midland instead. The vinyl sounds great anyway...
We visited here last sat night , we sat outside at the back ,the setup is great , patio heaters and an outdoor bar .great atmosphere .nice for a good night out .
The restaurant has rebranded as DV8 and elevated its offerings to resemble a trendy wine bar with a focus on food. The outdoor setup hints at the possibility of transforming into a nightclub in the evenings.
The restaurant recently changed ownership, resulting in a more cocktail-focused menu and trendy staff. However, despite the changes, the service and food were not up to par. The menu primarily consists of paninis and burgers, with limited options. Unfortunately, three of our meals were incorrect and had to be sent back, and even the bill was inaccurate. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with old beams and cozy corners. Hopefully, it will find its rhythm soon.
