The Green Bollington - Cheshire East

This charming café may have a reputation for long wait times for service, but that's because everything is made from scratch. If you're looking for a quick meal, this may not be the place for you, but the wait is definitely worth it. The food is delicious, and I can't find anything negative to say about this café. An added bonus is that it's dog-friendly, making it perfect for dog walkers.

Love the menu, lots of choice without being too fancy. Soup was delicious and the Feta Bollyschetta was divine. New favourite cafe in the area. Would need to book it’s very popular.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The quesadilla was burnt, the pancakes were thick and undercooked in the middle, and the eggs were undercooked. The food was also lukewarm and it took almost 40 minutes to be served, even though the cafe was nearly empty. It's a shame because we chose this place based on positive past experiences and had come as a treat for our family from a visiting friend. We will not be returning. We didn't feel comfortable addressing these issues during the meal as it was a special occasion.

We've been visiting The Green regularly for a while as we live nearby. There have been some great new additions to the menu recently and so we've found ourselves going back much more regularly. Always pleasant service and a nice atmosphere too.

Our first visit to Bollington and we were recommended to visit The Green. Free car park close to the High Street, easy walk, then warmly welcomed by the young staff. Breakfast tea was perfect and my latte was warm and made with lovely coffee. Poached eggs on toast for my wife ….done to perfection; my McMuffin was excellent with bacon, hash, sausage patty, fried egg…..will try the black pudding version next time : Friendly service and attention throughout from the young staff.
