Chatwin's Coffee Lounge - Cheshire East

Went here the other day can't fault it the staff were friendly, service was quick and food was lovely all in all me my other half her mother and auntie were very pleased with our visit to Chatwins.

This used to be the most popular café in town but over the years it has become very run down unwelcoming. With some many other venues available close by nobody is going to want to eat where the seats are slashed, staff seem distracted and none of the food, apart from the special offer, even has a price displayed. Come on Chatwins, you can do better than this!

This is a regular stop for us. Always greeted by a friendly staff and served quickly and efficiently. Great cakes (or pies and sandwiches if you want lunch).

Having left crewe many years ago, whenever we go back chatwins is a must! however, its gone jaded, food ok (cakes still great) but the décor matched the staff im afraid, a bit less than enthusiastic! the booth we sat in was so threadbare I sank into the seat! you could tell it was suffering, normally it would be bustling at that time of day, but it wasn't!!

We had 2 pots of tea two bacon and egg baps and two cream cakes. The food was ok nothing special. The selection of cakes wasn't great concidoring there's a cake shop down stairs. And the dinning area is old fashioned and very dated it made us feel old. I'm not in a hurry to return. And I thought it was a bit price at over £17
