The Stags Head - Cherwell

This cozy pub is a hidden gem. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the beer selection is top-notch. We will definitely be returning!

Stamatis, faith, john and tim, I can only write the second what marsha garrison wrote about our stay with them 2 weeks ago. we loved our cozy room and all the goodies they left for us. the stag's head and swalcliffe fit perfectly to our desire to travel the road less during our 2 weeks taken in Britain. not only their family were the host with most, but everyone we met in the village was extremely friendly and friendly. what an absolutely perfect start for our adventure! the only part? Why we didn't have a week instead of just staying one night. hope to visit again when we have a longer time to stay and will recommend the day's head to all those who are on the go!

We had a fantastic experience at The Stags Head. The food was amazing, the rooms were very comfortable, clean, cozy, and warm. The attention to detail was outstanding. The hospitality was great, with a very warm welcome. We can't wait to return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful garden.

The place is beautiful. we wanted to stay here on Saturday, unfortunately there was a stream cut and could not stay as we were ready to go to family wedding. the 5 stars are for how beautiful the personal was and how the understanding they were. they have such a nice place.

What a lovely pub! Stayed here in one of their very comfortable, well appointed rooms after receiving a warm welcome from the friendly grekj family that run the place. Had a delicious Greek meal for dinner. All in all a treat also superb value for money.
