Bidrage med feedbackThis was my first time at Zinburger. Let me preface this review with the fact that our waitress was in training. The restaurant has a modern feel to it and is nestled in a busy shopping complex. Parking can sometimes be a hassle and getting back out to the main road will be annoying. The food was at best just okay. I went in with higher hopes as I had heard from friends that it was very good. The burger was abnormally greasy, had little flavor, and was on a very thick and stuff bun. I 'm guessing the bun was thick to soak up all of that grease. The truffle fries were the star of the show. Absolute must have if you go. Their milkshakes are actually quite good, one of my favorites of anywhere. Unfortunately our waitress was in training and left them on the counter where they made them for at least 7 to 8 minutes. This would not have been that big of an issue if the restaurant was busy but it was not, hardly at all. I would like to go back and try a few other items but I 'm not sure it 's worth my time or money. If you 're looking for a good burger, there 's always Shake Shack right down the road. My Pro Score would be about a 2.8 out of 5.
My coworkers love it here. That's not to say I don't, but I have my reservations. The specials are always fun. The milkshakes are good and the beer selection is ok. The tater tots are amazing along with the truffle fries. The burgers are ok, and so is the chicken sandwich. At these prices I'm not sure I should be thinking they are ok. Teh service is always great when we come in and they are always ready to make my larger group feel welcome. We will return regularly for lunch I'm sure, and for their really steady service I won't be mad. Thanks!
We were hit by a craving for burgers and our friend suggested Zinburger. It was exactly what we were looking for casual, delicious and close by. With wine and beer. They have every kind of burger you can think of including turkey, vegan, Kobe beef, chicken and fish. Now imagine every cheese you love, and add avocado, tomato, lettuce, wild mushrooms, onions and more. Throw in a few salads, beer or wine (6 or 9 ounce pours), and some delicious fried zucchini or other appetizers. Everything is made fresh, and you can customize and easily avoid whatever you need or want to avoid. They grind their own beef multiple times a day. The beef is grass fed. Our burgers were perfectly done, juicy, not a speck of gristle, incredible. And then we asked about dessert. Chocolate cream pie with a chocolate cookie crust and a topping of whipped cream. Heaven with three spoons for sharing and enough leftover for the fourth who didn’t make it to dinner. Our server Nicole was perfect. Friendly but not intrusive. Gave great advice on my choice of wine. We’re fussy and we had no complaints. So why only four stars? It was a bit noisy, and the cost added up very quickly. The hostess seemed a little confused and unprofessional. My salad was a bit skimpy and I would have preferred romaine over iceberg. But four stars is pretty close to perfection. We’ll be back for sure!
Excellent burgers and for a refreshing change of pace we got shakes!! Oh my the choices were awesome and the taste...AMAZING! As you can see, empty glass!! Yum... What a cool place, great design, great choices, friendly staff. Quick service with a smile. Go bring the kids too. Usually places are noisy but because of the design high ceilings not a noisy environment. Good all around. Nice crowd.
This is my second visit to Zinburger and HOLY HELL I need to get here more often! Easily the best burger I’ve had in a long time. It was the $15.50 Kobe variant with mushrooms and a special sauce of some kind (details, details...their menu has the 411). It was cooked perfectly, the patty was AMAZING, so juicy and flavorful. No fries (because carbs). Great service on a busy Saturday. Parking can be a challenge (it was today) but if you’re patient and willing to walk a bit you’ll be fine. Seriously an amazing burger!
