Bidrage med feedbackI have been here in 2015 and said I would not come back. Well I did and it was well worth while.Salade of poached eggs which tasted very nice, a little silly to serve it on a small slate plate which meant chasing the tasty perfectly cooked eggs all over the slate. Nice clean carafe of Sauvignon blanc followed by the popular tartelette sable fraises which many people were having.I settled for a tasty Bavette with echalote crème and salad and chips. All excellent. Three nice pieces of cheese including an orange coloured Mimoulet which was tasty. A nice cup of coffee to finish the meal.I shall call in again.
Excellent restaurant as we were staying in the hotel next door - this restaurant is independent of the hotel.
The restaurant looks great and is next door to the Hotel du Manoir, but....I was not very hungry and as I was the only person in the restaurant, I was cold. I did not fancy a formula meal, so I ordered just a flank steak with chips, half a bottle of Badoit, half a bottle of a Cote du Rhone and finished off with a cafe creme. The meat was tough and the bill came to €29.50!!To be fair, by the time I finished eating my supper, two other tables were occupied and the ambience improved markedly, but all in all a disappointing experience. Will I eat there again? Probably not!
While staying in a F1 Iwent looking for somewhere to eat across the road was Les tourelles so in i go beir first and look at the menu .
I visited here with a group of friends and we all had a lovely meal with great service. I had the Fish and chips with sauce Indienne - very crispy batter around a good chunk of salmon, with fries and a lovely curry style sauce. Very unusual and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their various meals - no mashed potato in sight! The place was busy and was obviously popular with locals as well as visitors to the hotel next door. I would eat here again.
