The Railway - Cheltenham

Excellent pub with a series of different beer and Thai feeds. there is plenty of space to drink and eat inside or outside, although I would recommend booking if they want to eat busy times. that was not our first visit, and we will be back.

The railway is really one of the best places to “go for a drink” or “see for a really good ipa” or for “probably the best thai in the area” and also “a beautiful beer garden” and it is because of its ability to tickle all these boxes that have been so well done in recent years. the crafty sausage restaurant idee was a tade to niche, but with smokey phi phi, they have a nice smell wood fired Thai grill on the jump is defo worth trying the escape or marinated sirloin because they only have excellent tasting dishes with a cold pint of a local ipa. recently had some tap acceptances there Finally, it is the perfect place to take a dog. the staff is super friendly to dogs, offers bowls of water and cookies as well as in the rule go away to them and their pooch feel welcome.

Employee at Deya Brewery recommended this pub as it was our first time in Cheltenham, and it didn't disappoint. Great selection of beer and food. We loved the snug. Friendly staff and really good music. Wish it was my local.

We were recommended this place by friends, as i wanted to take my husband, his son and daughter in law out for his birthday, and we all love Thai food. The menu was hard to choose from as they all sounded delicious, and every single dish we had was stunning!! Packed with flavour and amazing presentation, We were all so impressed, also great service, the lovely waitress picked me a fabulous wine. I 100% recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return soon.

Food was delicious. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable of the dishes available. The prawn dumpling was crispy and very tasty. The marinated steak was sublime. The whole seabass was rather large for one person, but was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. The atmosphere was lively with a great buzz to the place. Only slight gripe was the wine prices. Thought they were on the high side, but there was a decent choice available. Would definitely come again.
