Common Grill - Chelsea

The food in Common Grill is consistently good, although other guests in my party pointed out that some of the items, i.e. green beans, lacked some of the lip-smacking delicacies as prepared under the previous property. The service is great, and our server was very attentive. The new owners have increased prices, which is understandable, but it places a meal in the common grill in the once a year category for me.

Food was delicious. Cooked perfectly. Cocktails were also just right. Our server, Kimberly, was excellent and attentive.

Active place, great food and wine, and good service. Only negative was that we felt pressured to vacate our table. They were crowded but we were not done with our second bottle of wine. We ended up going across the street for a after dinner drink.

Awesome!! We went twice during our visit and both times the food and service was excellent. There is usually a wait yo get in but you can make reservations on line. I wish I could have the lobster and shrimp fettuccine every week!
