Grange - Chelmsford

Great experience- good food and excellent service from Katie- very helpful happy and certainly did all she could to make an enjoyable experience

We had a wonderful lunch at The Grange and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was exceptional, thanks to our server Mel who was incredibly friendly and had a fantastic genuine way about her. Our visit was even more enjoyable because of her. The special bread and butter pudding was also delicious.

Family group including 2-yr-old. Waited almost 1 hour for a main course only order which was not good for the young one. Added issue was the side order arrived as I was finishing my meal. We have had better meals experiences here at The Grange in the past so this visit was disappointing to say the least.

Tilley was very helpful, very friendly and was quick to bring out our dinner even though they were really busy with a few large tables. A pleasant and nice experience. Thank you.

We had a delightful spontaneous visit to this restaurant. Despite being a busy Saturday night, they were able to accommodate us. I was particularly impressed with the gluten-free options, especially the Bakewell tart! Mel provided excellent service. The food was delicious - couldn't find any faults.
