Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant used to be wonderful. It filled a need in Chatswood by offering delicious Western-style food like "Canard a l'Orange", "Char Grilled Octopus with Pumpkin Hummus and Olives", and "Leek wrapped Grilled Mackerel Fillets". The chef, dressed in clean whites, would personally discuss the meals with patrons, and all ingredients were sourced organically. I brought several friends who all loved the place. However, when I visited last week, I was shocked to find that it had transformed overnight into "Duck Phat", with the same owner/chef now dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt, serving only hamburgers in a box without cutlery. There was no one else there except for a silly actor in a duck costume pacing outside. It was a disappointing change, and I won't be returning.
I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant! When we were seated, the chef greeted us personally, which was a nice touch. I decided to order the big breakfast, but they were unable to provide gluten-free bread due to difficulty sourcing an organic brand. However, the server kindly offered to add extra mushrooms for me instead. My meal was delicious, with fresh flavors and a perfectly poached egg. What's even better is that Good Vibes strives to use organic ingredients whenever possible and serves wild-caught seafood, all at a price that is comparable to other brunch spots. Overall, I would rate my experience as an A+!
This restaurant makes their own butter, haloumi, and bread. They have both meat and vegan options, which is great. The chef is very friendly and puts a lot of effort into the food. We will definitely be returning for dinner.
Going organic is becoming a good idea, Away from shelf food we don't really know what is in it. A credit to the owner to be among the first to provide this alternative.
Finally a restaurant in Sydney where you can eat something else than fish an chips, at a reasonable price. The chef prepared vibrant dishes that could be European, but have an original and personal touch to it.
