Le Fiacre - Châtel

This place was packed and for good reason. Great service ...lovely atmosphere. The food was impressive especially the meat dishes and pizzas. The desserts were works of art ! If you want to go somewhere to relax with friends and have a wonderful leisurely meal.. this is the place to go.

First and foremost, the food was excellent. Service is reasonably efficient, but lacks any genuine concern for your visit to their establishment. Take a deep breath with the bill because it is very expensive for a brasserie style restaurant. Inside its all very nice and...well maintained. Be aware this is a money making machine, you as the customer are simply part of the process. It therefore leaves a slightly bitter taste.

This is the restaurant to go to for local specialities, great service, good wine choice. It's advisable to book in advance, especially if you are a large party as it gets very busy. Their deserts are yummy!

We ate here the other night than a table of great service and stunning eating. we had a table looking into the kitchen, which was quite funny. happy days .can absolutely recommend.

We recently visited this amazing restaurant, while on a ski holiday with my family and friends to celebrate the birthday of my friend. we decided that this restaurant would be the best place to visit such a great birthday that has come every year for the years, since chatel and has never been left behind. the service was friendly and friendly and the staff immediately recognized my family and we sat immediately. we found the menu had been reduced due to covid, but there were still a lot of delicious options on the menu. one of my friends drinks mainly apfelwein and was a little disappointed not to have available apfel wine options, but this was only a small inconvenience and was able to order a spirit instead. as drinks arrived, the waiter had missed a beer from our order, but was quick to fix the problem, another directly over. the beer was very flat, but that seemed to be the same wherever we went in the village, maybe the French are not as fussy as the English! the waiter took our food order very shortly after closing our menus and free starters came out quickly. our main courses were absolutely amazing! the chips were the best I ever had. the burger was ordered to taste the customers something I have never seen and cooked to perfection. the duck and steaks were also absolutely amazing. the only part in the meal was that we had asked the staff to dissert a special for our friend whose birthday it was and they forgot to bring this with the desserts, but they brought this quickly after all the staff who sings happy birthday. at the end of our meal we enjoyed a shot genepi and paid at the bar. I think the manager was called amelie and she was brilliant and offered us a nice time for the birthday of our friend. we will come back in every case next year!
